Securing a wireless network can be a difficult and annoying task; here are seven tips that you can use to get the job done.

1) Use a different network frequency: While it’s not common knowledge, you can actually configure the details of your wireless network slightly so that a normal person with a laptop on the street in front of your house would actually not be able to pick up the wireless signal. You can find instructions for how to do this with your particular wireless network in the documentation that came with it. This is a great way to secure your wireless network because it attacks the problem right at the source.
